Who wants to polka? Kathleen and Sebastian had a beautiful classic Polish wedding. Kathleen got ready in her parents' huge house. There were massive windows there which allowed me to take the gorgeous bridal portraits that I love. Kathleen is a librarian, and her parents have a huge 2 story library. I was able to hang her dress in their library! Talk about perfect. It's the first picture below. Check it out!
Then it was out her front door headed to her church while a quartet, including Kathleen's father!, played Polka music in the driveway.
The church was a classic, recently remodeled Polish church (OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWA ) with artifacts from Poland.
Then I rode downtown on Kathleen's party bus with her, Sebastian, and the bridal party while Kathy followed us in our SUV. We took pictures at the DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts) and the Detroit Public Library, of course! Then it was back to Palazzo Grande where they partied like crazy.
Kathleen and Sebastian even got me to take a shot of Polish vodka with them when I was done working. It was a great time!
