Jill and Anthony's beautiful wedding began in a suite at the Auburn Hills Marriott with floor to ceiling windows which were perfect for natural light bridal portraits. The suite even boasted a balcony where Jill's bridesmaids were all smiles as they toasted the happy bride with their champaign glasses clinking outside high above the ground. The bridesmaids' Vera Wang dresses were the perfect accompaniment to Jill's Casablanca gown. Pearls were the featured accent adorning Jill's bracelet, necklace, and earrings. As the bridesmaids helped Jill put her jewelry on she glowed with anticipation. We would soon be leaving for the Church.
From the Auburn Hills Marriott in Pontiac it was off to Oak Arbor Church in Rochester. The church's sanctuary is full of tall windows allowing in loads of natural light. The pastor had no rules for the angles of the photography (which is extremely rare), so I was able to get pictures from "behind" the couple. The pastor was as animated as any I've ever heard speak which resulted in a ton of smiles during the ceremony (take a look!). The ceremony was beautiful.
Before heading back to the Auburn Hills Marriott we stopped at a lovely gazebo by a lake near the grounds of the church to shoot a few photos. Then it was off to the Marriott, where this group knew how to party!
A big thanks to Jill and Anthony for having me capture these memories for you. It truly an honor to be a part of your day.
