Jenell and Robert had a truly classic wedding. Jenell had a huge smile on her face when she saw me walk into her mom's house, where she was getting ready. One of the very cool things I get to do at a lot of weddings is incorporate items from a couple's parents' wedding into their wedding. I took a picture of Jenell in front of the same mirror her Mom was photographed in front of on her mom's wedding day a generation ago. It was truly special. You can see Jenell's radiance in it! I think Jenell's favorite picture from her getting ready session is the first picture you see, the one with her dog looking at her dress!
Their ceremony was in the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel, a beautiful, old, structure. They had one of the nicest church ladies I've ever met. She invited me behind the alter, where I could discreetly get some amazing shots. You can see Jenell peek at me in one of the pictures! The recessional shot that Kathy took from the balcony reminded me of a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their royal wedding!
After a quick stop at Jenell and Robert's house for some cool backyard pictures, it was on to Penna's of Sterling Heights where everyone partied the night away. Jenell and Robert, there was so much that was cool about your wedding. Maybe most memorable for me was taking your picture in front of your Mom's wedding mirror.
